Great place for a nature hike. Don't come on a cold and windy day. Fun place for kids during their bluebird /woodduck house building.

Nice big trail system.

I picked up sticks for these people and all I got was a pat on the back and a handshake, but wildlife is pretty neat.

One of my favorite hikes. Great views, well groomed trail, river/forest/prairie/lake/wetland habitats.

Crane Meadows is a great place to visit in all seasons. To catch a glimpse of Sandhill cranes is, of course, the highlight, but keep an eye out for warblers, hawks, dragonflies, butterflies and so much more. The trails meander through a variety of terrain in which to see all kinds of wildlife.
